India Today.

India has never been an easy country to govern and

with the passage of time the task has only grown

more complex.The reasons are as below:

Wealth has increased and poverty too.

Education has increased and ignorance too.

Production has doubled and the population too.

Employment has increased and strikes too.

Weapons have grown and violence too.

Doctors have  multiplied and diseases too.

Inventions have increased and wants too.

It is a truism that even  the worst of  constitution

can be made to work  for the good of the nation

if we are faithful.

Memories in our mind, forever they last;

A foundation for the future, a reminder of past;

Memories so soft, so delicate;

Memories of early years, of years late;

Memories of forgotten life, of far away;

Memories of way back, of bygone days;

Like sweet melody, a sound from  way afar;

Like sweet fragrance, of an evergreen flower;

Like the beauty of life, that one yearns to see;

Is the world  of memories, sweet memories;

Some like faint pictures, some glittering with light;

Some of day break walks, some of moonlit night;

Some filled with laughter; some full of pain;

Some in warm sun-shine, some in showering rain;

These are memories  wild, sweet and sour;

Stored in our mind, or in our heart’s core.

Children Today.

There is an immense transformation in the nature

and behavioural aspects of children today. They

tend to be more adventurous and sensitive about

worldly  affairs. They attain maturity at a very

tender age.This is largely due to various social

and cultural   factors. Obscenity in movies

and television contribute to a great extent in

moulding the character of a child. The character

of a child is formed in the atmosphere,  where the

child is brought up. Family background and behaviour

of elders also play a vital role in a child’s growth.

Since children have great observing power, they

tend to grasp whatever comes their way-whether

it is good or bad. Parents must learn the basics of

the child philosophy and conduct themselves in

such a manner that the child can become a good

citizen when he grows up.
